If you are a computer geek, it’s normal if your computer have more than one operating system. Like computer of mine, i have Windows Vista, Ubuntu and Backtrack. All in different partition. And i’m using Grub as a boot manager. But i put Windows Vista as default boot. Grub gives 60 seconds timeout as default before it boot to default OS.
But it’s very often for me to missed the Grub menu and automatically boot to Vista. Of course this is a little bit annoying and wasting my time. To solve this you can use iReboot. It’s a free software from Neosmart Technologies. It’s a lightweight tool to help you choose OS to boot from Windows. Works well in Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. But this tools is not available on Linux yet. But if you are in Linux and most of the time i want to reboot to windows, so i don’t need this tool then (at least in my case).
So with this iReboot tools no need to pressing restart on windows, wait BIOS to post and wait until the Grub menu appears and select another OS. All just in 2 click with iReboot, choose your operating system and press restart.
You can download iReboot here.
It’s that easy, isn’t it?
We can USE it on Windows also .. or Its Mac Version .. I want to use Windows XP and Widows 7 at the same time
iReboot only on Windows. If you want to use XP and Windows 7 at the same time, use vmware instead.
i like it
me too

Sometimes a Windows install can get corrupted or compromised in such a way that it’s hard to correct without removing the hard drive and using another computer and Operating System to fix it
i dont think we need to worry too much linux. if it works well vista and windows 7, i would be more than happy.
In addition to zippy start times, Phoenix claims that its quick-start environment doesn’t use as much power as a full operating system like Windows. According to the company, both versions of HyperSpace are capable of improving a machine’s battery life by up to 30% because while HyperSpace is working, Windows is automatically set into sleep mode, fewer things are happening in HyperSpace compared with Windows, and the processor is operating at a lower speed.

If you are having issues with your PC where it keeps rebooting randomly, or if you see a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) containing an indecipherable error message before the reboot, then there is a mild cause for alarm with your current setup.

As you can see, it is not only possible, but there are quite a few ways to go about it. You could use the laptop’s built-in recovery partition, or you could use an install disc, or you could just roll it back to it’s infancy.
I have heard about iRobot but this is the first time I am hearing about iReboot. Thanks for this information.
